陶瓷配件，是指用特種陶瓷材料經(jīng)過混料、成型、燒結(jié)、加工工序制成的機械零部件。特種陶瓷材料作為一種無機非金屬材料，具有諸多金屬材料所不具備的性能，如：高強度、高硬度、高彈性模量、耐高溫、耐磨損、耐腐蝕、抗氧化、抗熱震。特種陶瓷材料可以是氧化物陶瓷、氮化物陶瓷、硼化物陶瓷、碳化物陶瓷等。
